This is a rare opportunity to head this highly regarded modern facility in the beautiful Boronia area when the current CEO retires, and will appeal to a select group of capable and experienced executives who can combine their proven management skills with the desire to enhance the quality of life of over 150 mostly German elderly residents in residential care and retirement units.
Reporting to a Board of Governance, that will look to you for strategic advice and support, you will be responsible for all aspects of corporate and operational management, lead a competent professional team, and control a $7M budget. Relating to residents, families and community stakeholders is an important component of the role, so you will need to be fluent in the German language and a practicing Christian. An exciting responsibility for the new CEO will be the implementation of a strategic property refurbishment program to ensure that accommodation always remains up to date and attractive to residents. Applicants should have held a general management role, ideally in the human services sector, and be able to manage both the strategic and hands-on aspects of leading this caring Christian community. Experience in aged care is desirable but not essential.
